Is a bespoke piece for you?
A custom piece is for anyone seeking a truly unique, one-of-a-kind garment made collaboratively with them. You can be as involved in the process as you wish, providing an abundance of details or maybe you have a simple request and want me to drive the creative. Either way, I am here for you.
Your vision, my hands
We begin by exploring your inspiration – what pieces you love, and the reasons why. Whether it is shape, colour, texture, an overall feeling or a specific stitch detail. Inspiration can be varied or a single piece – this helps me to get a feel for what you love.
The journey to your perfect knit
I will then source yarn options and start to refine the design. Once yarn selections have been made, I purchase your yarn and knit a swatch to give you an indication of what the finished garment will look like. We discuss fit details and use some of your measurements to get the proportions perfect for you.
You can then choose if you would like to be kept up to date with photos as your knit comes to life, and final photos before shipping, or if you would prefer to be surprised when your custom piece arrives to you.
